SUMMARY:"The Goddess" - Kumaraguru Institutions\, Coimbatore
DESCRIPTION:“The Goddess\nA Raadha Kalpa Production \nThe archetype of power\, strength and victory in india is depicted by a female form. Kali\, Devi and Durga are the forms of goddess Parvati that represent strength and power. In most cultures\, the representation of power is always held within a male form\, but the goddesses in the Hindu pantheon carry the metaphor for courage amongst various other essential aspects of life. Knowledge & creation\, wealth\, nourishment and sustenance\, strength\, power\, art\, beauty\, grace and kindness are all represented by the many goddesses. The production features three compositions that explore these various aspects of the Goddesses. \nChoreography & Direction\nRukmini Vijayakumar \nDancers\nRukmini Vijayakumar\nPadmashree\nAsokavadhani\nPriyadarshini Rajendran\nSurabhi Gopal\nReanna Ranjan\nManasvee Gupta \nLight Design\nGyandev Singh \nPhotography:\nVivian Ambrose\nRakesh\nSunilino”

SUMMARY:Devi - Naayika\, Surat
DESCRIPTION:DEVI\nby\nRukmini Vijayakumar \nConcept & Choreography: Rukmini Vijayakumar \nDevi\nThe feminine energy \nDevi is a collection of traditional pieces that exalt the female goddesses\, their power\, grace and beauty. The goddesses are seen as life giving\, nourishing\, and as the very life force itself. Our many traditional compositions describe the goddesses as beautiful\, with long beautiful tresses\, adorned in jewellery while wielding the strength and power to create and annihilate universes. Devi is a celebration of this divinity that exists within all of us.

SUMMARY:Ishwara - Chandigarh
DESCRIPTION:Ishwara by Rukmini Vijayakumar\nIt was choreographed in memory of her father\, K Vijayakumar. \nParvati and Parameshwara\, Shiva and Sati\, Masculine and Feminine\, Purusha and Prakruti\, are the many names that describe this mystery of creation. \nThrough Vedanta\, we realise that all of this universe is an embodiment of Ishwara. Shiva and Parvati represent the unmanifest and the manifest in the world around us. The puranas reference the physical manifest forms of Shiva and Parvati as symbolic representations of this philosophy\, attributing human qualities and emotions to relate trivial\, often humorous interactions between them. The stories ultimately carry the idea of both of them representing all of creation\, but in the manifest forms often not realising it.\nIshwara\, is a journey of human emotion\, love\, loss and realisation through the eyes of Shiva and Parvati.
