SUMMARY:Ishwara - The Studio Theatre\, Mumbai
DESCRIPTION:Ishwara by Rukmini Vijayakumar\nIt was choreographed in memory of her father\, K Vijayakumar. \nParvati and Parameshwara\, Shiva and Sati\, Masculine and Feminine\, Purusha and Prakruti\, are the many names that describe this mystery of creation. \nThrough Vedanta\, we realise that all of this universe is an embodiment of Ishwara. Shiva and Parvati represent the unmanifest and the manifest in the world around us. The puranas reference the physical manifest forms of Shiva and Parvati as symbolic representations of this philosophy\, attributing human qualities and emotions to relate trivial\, often humorous interactions between them. The stories ultimately carry the idea of both representing all of creation\, but in the manifest forms often not realising it. \nIshwara\, is a journey of human emotion\, love\, loss\, and realisation through the eyes of Shiva and Parvati.
